This in-person and online hybrid event by TU Dublin will provide an opportunity for us all to reflect on the challenges and opportunities we have/continue to face during a global pandemic in relation to teaching and learning .

2:35pm to 2:50pm – Dr. Tony Bates – University of British Columbia The Future of eLearning. We will explore the future of blended/hybrid learning with key speaker Dr. Tony Bates with a pre-recorded presentation. (in person & online audience)
2:50pm to 3:20pm – Keynote Speaker Donald Clark, EdTech entrepreneur. We will be welcomed via live stream with Donald Clark, EdTech entrepreneur and evangelist for the use of technology in learning. Donald will discuss challenges (political, economic, pedagogic and cultural) faced by Higher Education and the need for technology and change. He will also explore innovations in technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how we can exploit these technologies to transform our T&L practices. (in person & online audience)
3:20pm to 3:55pm – Discussion Panel. We will discuss the impact the global pandemic has had on teaching and learning for all our students and staff within Technological University Dublin. We will explore the challenges both academics and students face/have faced and how we have worked together to address these issues with people, processes, and technologies.
