In 2016 Natasha secured a new role as Manager of Regional Skills Dublin, an initiative under the Department of Education. This role focuses on Training and Education while fostering engagement between industry and educational providers (both Further Ed & Higher Ed). She now works based on this role across various sectors in Dublin on activities of skills development, for example, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail, Biopharma, FINTECH, Construction, Logistics Transport and more.
Most recently she graduated 2015 with a 1st Honours Masters in Training & Education, focusing on research to develop what is now “Tourism Insight” online. Prior studies included a Masters in Hospitality Management DIT; Hotel & Catering Management from AIT and a BSc in Human Resources Management CIPD from DIT. Natasha was awarded the prestigious "IHI Young Hospitality Manager of the Year” 2000 and awarded Fellowship of IHI in 2012.
Holding a number of positions within Hospitality in the past, she also spent time lecturing at 3rd level. Progressing mainly in operational & HR positions within France, England & Ireland, she went on to gain experience in Fáilte Ireland as Professional Development advisor involving her in many key projects in support of skills and education within the sector. In addition, she has sat on many industry boards including Governing Body of AIT, the National Hospitality Advisory Group and also in 2016 she was appointed onto the National Apprenticeship Council in 2016. After a decade as Chief Executive of the Irish Hospitality Institute, focused on the professional development of the sector directly through those employed, her current role spanning across sectors now allows a wider engagement for skills within the Dublin region direct.
