Michael McGovern

Michael has over 30 years of experience in technology and education – including as a teacher in the K-12 space. He has worked with a range of Fortune 100 companies and training organisations to design, develop, and deploy their learning solutions ranging from designing their technical training academies to creating and delivering technical training courses and creating and running MOOCs.

Michael holds a BA in English from the University of Chicago and a MA in eLearning and Technical Writing from the University of Limerick. His dissertation focused on the use of microLearning within a social media environment.

Michael is currently Learning Technologies Manager at St. James’s Hospital and acts as a consultant and adviser to Learnovate.
