Niamh Walsh

Niamh joined Learnovate as Content Marketing Manager with 15+ years’ experience in the private and public sector in senior roles in marketing, communications, content management, e-learning, information technology and training. Prior to joining Learnovate, Niamh worked for five years as marketing and communications manager in the social sciences in University College Dublin.

Previous to joining UCD, Niamh spent seven years as communications manager for The Marketing Institute – Ireland’s representative body for marketing professionals. Other roles in Niamh’s career include an editor in an e-learning company, a website content manager, an IT Trainer and a Web Developer.

Niamh is a keen advocate of lifelong learning and personal development. Following completion of her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Classics in University College Dublin, Niamh achieved a Higher Diploma in Computer Science in University College Cork followed by a Master’s in Computer Science in 1999 in Trinity College Dublin. While working as an IT Trainer in web technologies, Niamh completed a Certificate in Training and Continuing Education in NUI Maynooth in 2003. She achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Marketing in Dublin Institute of Technology in 2012.

Niamh completed a Professional Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching in UCD Smurfit School in 2017. She achieved Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt certification with SQT Trainng in 2018 and is currently pursuing a part-time MA in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy with the Tivoli Institute.
